Chuck Fleischer

Managing Partner, Harvard Residential

As Managing Partner for Harvard Residential, Chuck is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s residential practice. Focused on assisting our clients with the timely and properly priced disposition of foreclosed and bank owned property assets (REO, or real-estate-owned) he must know the pulse of the market on a daily basis. What’s selling? Who’s buying? What are today’s real property values? Who are the people making it happen? What marketing strategies are getting results? It’s all in the information, and all about the results.

Chuck is a licensed Realtor® in Texas, specializing in distressed and investment property. As a field signing agent he has closed over 200 real estate transactions. He is a member of the MetroTex Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors, and holds their Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) designation. He’s been an active real estate investor for many years, having trained with industry legend and best selling author Bill Barnett and a number of other nationally recognized real estate experts. He earned the Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRES) designation from the Robert Allen Institute and later served as Adjunct Instructor for their advanced Field Mentoring Program.

Chuck also founded Genesee Mountain Capital to develop luxury residences, purchase and renovate distressed executive and luxury homes, and purchase defaulted and non-performing real estate notes. The firm funds its operations by offering above market rates of return to its private wealth investor clients.

 


James Walker

Partner, Broker

He began his career in commercial real estate out of Chicago, Illinois. He was in charge of several cities In Texas, which Included properties In Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. He also worked commercial projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars in several states as well, in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and New York.

After ten years in the CRE industry, Mr. Walker worked for a real estate company, out of Boston Mass. He acquired over 3,000 apartment units around Dallas and has set up a team to Lease and manage these units.

In 1990 James was self-employed in real estate business in downtown Dallas. The last nineteen years James has acquired many commercial, apartment and retail properties for various partnerships in the heart of downtown Dallas. James also plays an active role in tenant representation and site location work for tenants including the Donut Palace, a retail chain in Dallas. James became a commercial real estate broker in 1979.

 

Nicole Andrews

Broker

Nicole currently serves as Harvard Companies’ sales and marketing director, specializing in commercial brokerage for our high net worth clients, researching commercial properties for acquisition or development by the company and its clients.

She has served as both a Texas licensed real estate broker and liaison in real estate transactions, preparing and reviewing all necessary documents for use in acquisitions, leases and sales of properties. Nicole is our point person for the development of relationships with many of our clients, and has negotiated contracts with countless buyers and sellers.

Most recently, she was involved in researching, developing and preparing information and documentation for a major entertainment development, The Texas Riviera, planned to be located Dallas County.

In the past, she has worked with the marketing research firm, Plaza Research, and with West Plano Medical Center. Nicole attended the University of Michigan and graduated, cum laude, from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Josiah Ford

Partner, Harvard Property Tax Consultants, Inc., Broker

A founding partner of Harvard Property Tax Consulting, Josiah has extensive knowledge in the commercial real estate industry, with emphasis on property tax consulting, valuation, investing and development. Josiah possesses an extensive knowledge of Dallas County’s property tax laws and appeal procedures. His expertise enables him to save his clients money and increase the value of their properties by minimizing their property-tax burden.

Josiah earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana. Josiah has also earned a Master of Science in Business Entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He is a Property Tax Consultant, Licensed Texas and California Real Estate Salesperson, and Certified Commercial Investment Member Candidate (CCIM). Josiah has also taken several courses covering commercial real estate and Texas tax law from Urban Land Institute, CCIM, Texas A&M Commerce and All Star Professional Training.

David Loving

Vice President of Operations

David is the operational figurehead of Harvard Companies, and everything that funnels through our organization passes through him. David’s passion for real estate development and his entrepreneurial spirit have him involved in developing many new business ventures. His work on The Texas Riviera Project has been vital to the formulation of its plans, and makes the certainty of its success obtainable.

A fourth-generation Texan, David is completing the last year his Real Estate Finance degree at SMU’s Cox School of Business and has plans to enroll in a Masters program in real estate development in the near future. David also has leadership roles in campus and community service. David’s project management expertise has proven pivotal to Harvard Company’s success.

Shawn Dawson

Vice President of Information Technology

Shawn is currently working diligently on bringing The Texas Riviera to the City of Dallas. His hard work is viewed every day through our company’s website, and his imprint on our vision here at Harvard Companies has helped conceptualize our landmark project and make our idea a viable reality.

A native resident of Dallas, Shawn is entering his senior year at Southern Methodist University. Along with his dedication to Harvard Companies, Shawn is a Financial Consulting and Earth Sciences double major, with interdisciplinary academic excellence in Finance, Accounting, and Geology. These strong assets have enabled our company to grow immensely in terms of real estate development and technological design.

Ed Ulbricht

Project Management/Value Engineering

Ed brings a wealth of operational and organization management skills to any project he’s involved in. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design and a Master’s in Architecture, Ed has proven that he is one of the top project managers available. In fact, he currently provides project management, executive and operational support on a consulting basis for numerous companies.

In the past he’s served as Executive Vice-President for the Amend Group (formerly WorkPlaceUSA, Inc.), an integrated professional real estate and development company. While there, he was responsible for P&L, as well as organizational and operational functions. During his seven year tenure with Amend, he held several executive level management positions while building a project management organization that consistently achieved extraordinary results.

His knowledge and expertise includes program and operational management, process development and implementation. His broad experience includes serving as Executive Vice President of Development for CiCi Enterprises, Inc. and for U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc.

After serving as a Professor for the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University, Ed spent the first five years of his career in management positions at CRSS Architects & Engineers and Scott & Strong Architects.

From the planning stages of a development to completion, Ed possesses the knowledge and skills to see to it that project is completed on time and on budget, always exceeding expectations.
